How we collect, use and look after the personal information you give us.

SafeHouse Storage is a business name of GB3 Pty Ltd (ABN 27 615 672 878). SafeHouse Storage operates self storage complexes in Murray Bridge SA and Lithgow, Coonabarabran and Tenterfield NSW. Each complex is leased and managed by a local real estate agency (our “managing agent”). This policy explains how we and our managing agents handle personal information collected through this website.
What we collect
- Quick questions: your name, phone number and your question.
- Storage agreements: your full name, address, phone number, email address, driver’s licence number, expiry date and photos of the front and back of your licence, an alternate contact’s name and phone number, your shed and rental preferences, and your typed signature.
If you give us details of an alternate contact, please let them know you have done so and point them to this policy.
Why we collect it
- To answer your question.
- To confirm your identity and assess and set up your storage agreement.
- To manage your agreement, including rent, access, notices and contacting you or your alternate contact about your account.
- To recover unpaid fees and deal with goods left behind, as allowed by law.
- To meet our legal obligations.
If you do not provide the information marked as required, we may not be able to offer you a storage space.
Who we share it with
- The managing agent for the complex you choose. Their name and contact details are shown on each location page and on the form before you send it.
- Service providers who host this website and deliver form submissions to us, including Netlify, Inc., which stores submissions on servers that may be located in the United States or other countries.
- Our professional advisers, debt collectors, insurers, or police and government bodies, where needed to manage your agreement or required or authorised by law.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for unrelated marketing.
How we protect it
Form submissions are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and are only accessible to SafeHouse Storage and the relevant managing agent. We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above and our legal and record-keeping obligations, then delete or de-identify it.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how people use this site and to measure our advertising. These services use cookies and similar technology to collect information such as pages visited, device type and approximate location. They do not receive the details you type into our forms. You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and manage ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
Pages also load fonts from Google Fonts and pricing and contact data from Google Sheets, so Google may receive your IP address and browser details when you visit.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by contacting the managing agent for your complex (details on each location page), or by writing to GB3 Pty Ltd, PO Box 207, Glen Innes NSW 2370. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page.
